Race
dates for your diary - Spring 2008
Racing - Remember that gears are
restricted in all youth races - see Gears page
and ask the coaches for guidance on the rules
Bikes must comply with the gear restrictions, imposed to protect young
riders from injury.
Gear
restrictions should be checked and adjustments made well before the time of the
race and
may be checked by the officials at the end of the race.
Exceeding the gear
restrictions will result in disqualification so its important to get it right
before the race.
All riders will need to have a current British Cycling licence or a buy a day
licence when signing on for a race.
For further information and guidance on the rules contact Steve May at a Saturday morning session.
