The youth cycling club for West London based at Hillingdon
Cycle Circuit, Minet Park, Hayes
Skills training, cycle sport and fun for the under 16s
The Slipstreamers were
formed in 1998 and welcomes children aged up to 16, providing cycle training and
fun in an ideal traffic-free environment at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit in West
London. Slipstreamers is a cycling
development club which aims to teach all cycling disciplines, led by British
Cycling qualified coaches. We are very proud to have triple Olympic medal
winner Bradley Wiggins OBE and British women's cross country mountain bike
champion Jenny Copnall as our Vice Presidents. The
club meets every Saturday morning at the circuit in Minet
Park, Springfield
Road, Hayes from 10am - 12.30 pm and there are also coaching sessions laid on at
other venues for track cycling, mountain biking and club
runs.
New Riders All new rider riders are required to complete a rider induction form and attend an induction session before being allowed to ride on the circuit. This is to enable each rider to gain the best experience suited to their individual needs. The induction includes initial rider training and a skills assessment. It is our objective to offer induction sessions to all new riders on their first visit, however this is subject to numbers and coach availability on the day. Please note:
If you have attended a Slipstreamers session in the past, or are a member of another club or group, you will need to complete a rider induction form. You still may need to complete an induction session but this is at the discretion of the coaches.
