June 2014: Westerley TT Report

Westerley Time Trials – 4th June

It was a another night of looming dark clouds, and a strong wind building from the West. Later riders had to finish with litter and debris being blown out of the bins into their path. A reduced field with only 3 Slipstreamers making the outing. Sam Henning recorded a fantastic time of 24:50.6 to take 2nd position. No small achievement and a superb entry into the world of cycle sport! Well done Sam. Nathan and Kye continue to do well – both smaller riders being battered by the winds in their final laps, upsetting their otherwise consistent split times.
