We previously reported that 4 Slipstreamers, Lorna Bowler, Harriet Mellor, Carl Jolly and Charles Page, were selected to make up half the team representing the Central Region for Track at the Sainsbury’s UK Schools Games, part of the Inter Regional Team Championships, which were held in Manchester this past weekend (4-7th September). A further report and photos will follow in next week’s newsletter, but for now we thought we’d let you know that all 4 riders performed brilliantly in their respective categories, where they competed against some of the best youth riders in the country, and resulting in an overall 11th position out of all the regions. This is a fantastic achievement, so well done riders!
