Banjo Cycles Rampage MTB XC Series, Round 3, Sunday 5th October
A beautiful mild Autumnal morning greeted riders at Hammonds Farm in Oxfordshire, at the 3rd round of the Banjo XC races. The course was reversed from the previous rounds, and Slipstreamers’ Nathan George and Seth Kanaris found themselves riding a more technical and fast-flowing route this time. However, this did not deter our racers who applied their MTB skills on this XC course, and reported back that there were some awesome jumps, including a really cool tabletop and hip jump that was enjoyed! Nathan completed 1 lap in the U13 category, putting in a sterling performance to take first place in his race; while Seth, who completed 2 laps in the Juvenile category, fought hard in a gripping race for the finish against Summit MTB riders to come in a fantastic and well-earned 2nd place. Well done both of you!
