Slipstreamer Yasmin Basit attended the annual Summit Go-Ride MTB Autumn Classic in Lotts Wood last Saturday, 18th October, where a large number of racers from several clubs took part. It turned out to be a fantastic event, and Yasmin did us proud by taking 3rd place on the podium in her category!

“The MTB race on Saturday was long and difficult but huge fun. Lotts Wood in the Chilterns is a single-track special MTB course and is famously challenging with narrow berms, roots that need bunny hops and short steep sections up and down. I was very pleased with my third position as an U14 after more than an hour of riding, as there were several who did not finish. I will be going back to Lotts Wood to practice in the holidays!”
