First week in November means one thing – Monday night sessions are back!

We have another 25 weeks of training and rider education planned to help keep you in tip top condition over the winter months. Starting on Monday 3rd November, we will be introducing the new Talent Development Handbook from British Cycling and will help you to put the content to good use to set your own goals and use the content provided. This learning session is open to members, new inductees and parents to understand the talent development pathway.

As usual, following the workshop will be the Turbo session. This year, we are making some changes as follows:

  • There is NO lower age limit! Every member or new inductee is welcome to join in – BUT we only have turbo trainers that we can loan to you if you have a 700c (full size) wheel. Our turbo trainers do not fit 24inch, 26inch or any other small wheel. If you have a small wheel AND your own turbo trainer then it will not be a problem
  • There is NO upper age limit! Every member parent, volunteer, coach etc. currently involved with the club is welcome to saddle up and get some winter training in.
  • Doors open at 18:30
  • Workshop starts at 19:00
  • Turbo session starts at 19:45, and we expect to finish around 21:00

Each week, we cover different workshop topics, covering topics such as:

  • Planning training
  • Psychology
  • Physiology
  • Nutrition
  • and more

The cost remains the same – just £5 per session. Hope to see you Monday!
